VSAI works to unleash the creative potential in children, youth and adults of all abilties. Together, our staff and Teaching Artists touch thousands of Indiana children and hundreds of adults each year. We help schoolchildren gain confidence and learn lessons through the arts. We help school teachers learn how to adapt their arts curriculum for students with disabilities. We help artists learn how to work with students who have developmental delays or other disabilities. We host events, classes and studio time around the state that helps bring the arts to many. We reach into hospitals, transitional housing shelters, summer camps, and more.

It's important work - and we'd like to keep doing it, plus even more. That's how you can help. While we are grateful for our essential funding through the Indiana Department of Education Division of Exceptional Learners, the Indiana Arts Commission, the Arts Council of Indianapolis, and other granting organizations, funding our programs and supporting participation in them is a continual priority.
