VSA arts of Indiana Festival Information
VSA arts of Indiana (VSAI) Festivals are usually one-day community events that offer opportunities for creative expression in a variety of arts disciplines. In Indianapolis, Lake County, and Muncie, a modified VSAI Festival experience is offered on multiple days.
Children and youth with disabilities and their non-disabled peers rotate through visual arts, music, movement, and drama stations. Qualified Teaching Artists lead the sessions and facilitate the inclusion and participation of all students. Teachers and aides accompany their students and share the experience. Volunteers and local funders help make the events run smoothly.
